depends if its blaster blade and i had gancelot in my hand and i had no other grade threes
then i would ride blaster blade so i could use gancelots skill

but yes i think i understand what you mean but its more then 20% luck its more like 40%
luck 60%skill and 10% concentrated will power

reason for being is that say you have 5 damage and its your oponets turn they only have one card out which is there vanguard

if you pull a heal trigger then it saves you and gives you anouther turn
if you get a crit then your lucky and if you get two in a row your even more then lucky


see triggers are luck and can change the tide of a battle in the last instant

Ask anyone that has been playing vanguard for a while and they'll agree that while triggers are decisive some times, if don't have the skill to put up a good fight the rest of the time, they won't matter a lot since you are already in disadvantage.
